Help

SCRIPTURE

Psalm 20:1-5 (NLT)

1 In times of trouble, may the Lord answer your cry.
May the name of the God of Jacob keep you safe from all harm.
2 May he send you help from his sanctuary
and strengthen you from Jerusalem.
3 May he remember all your gifts
and look favorably on your burnt offerings.
Interlude

4 May he grant your heart's desires
and make all your plans succeed.
5 May we shout for joy when we hear of your victory
and raise a victory banner in the name of our God.
May the Lord answer all your prayers.

PRAYER

Lord, ______ has definitely had times of trouble, and has cried out to you, sometimes in desperation. Please answer his cry. Please surround him with the safety that comes with a garrison of guardian angels, always protecting him from all harm. I ask that you would dispatch help by answering the specifics of his cry, and that you would supply a generous dose of supernatural strength to sustain him in the midst of trouble. Please be mindful of the sincerity of his worship and the genuineness of his sacrifice of obedience, and look favorably on both. Please Lord, give this man the deepest desires of his heart, and give his plans success. And we promise to give a joyous shout of praise to you as we hear of his victory. And Lord, we beg of you that you would see the clarity of his heart and answer each and every one of his prayers with an answer that is full, rich, and even overflowing. Amen.

ENCOURAGEMENT

God sees the genuineness of your heart, hears your cries for help, and will give you all that you need to face everything he allows. He will. Never stop crying out for his help. He loves your humble dependence.
